A short-horned grasshopper of some kind?
CLOSED: another Orthopteran from western Oregon
This is a short-horned grasshopper in the family Acrididae; it appears to be a short-winged female, likely a Melanoplus sp. - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/57689181@N00/9673837583 for an example. This is a very specious genus...
Thanks, again!
