Found this guy in my apartment in Portland, OR. It is about 8mm long and looks like a very young praying mantis. It has 4 legs, 2 arms (which it hold in the praying position most of the time though it will climb with them) and 2 segmented antenna. It flies fairly well, but prefers to walk. It has a thick curved proboscis instead of mandibles, which is a bit longer than its head. Its coloration is striped brown and tan, covering its whole body except for its back, which is more bark like.
I have my suspicions, but I'm not even a novice entomologist.
Please help me identify this insect
