I have three kinds of bees on the Asters this morning. I know one as a honeybee, but the other two are a mystery.
Here they are.
Bees
The first two are flower/hover flies in the family Syrphidae and the third is a crane fly in the family Tipulidae. They cannot bite and are completely harmless…
