CLOSED: Identification confusion

Woodstown, NJ

Clearest picture i could get, i didn't kill it because i'm not sure which type of spider it is, everything kept saying brown recluse, i still don't believe it.

Most definitely not a recluse (NJ is outside their range, among other things); possibly a ground spider in the family Gnaphosidae (see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/148313211 for an example), but the image is not clear enough to be certain.

It definately isn't the one in the link, i couldnt get a better picture unfortunatelty, that and the abdomen was not hairy.

I think it was this one, it is just about exact. http://www.spiders.us/species/trachelas-tranquillus/

Yes, Trachelas also would be a good candidate - I thought of it as well, but was in a hurry and didn't take the time to locate a good image; sorry...
