Unknown grub/caterpillar/worm found under leaves in woods

Columbia, VA(Zone 6b)

It's mauve in color and very pretty. Does anyone know what it is? I live in central Virginia. Thank you!

I think Double-Lined Prominent based on the marking I could see on its back and description given in my book but not 100% sure. The color was throwing me until I found the passage below.

says "Many Prominents, especially those belonging to the Heterocampinae, turn red prior to pupation"

Wait for conformation before closing

I also believe that it most likely is a double-lined prominent; I would just caution that some examples of the variable oakleaf caterpillar can be extremely similar in appearance.

Hmmm...I'm wondering if it is the oakleaf because the leaf litter I found it under was all chestnut oak. That's about 85 percent of the trees on our property.
