Please help me identify this bug that I cought on a sticky trap in my living room . We are wondering if we have bedbug cause we had strange bites. It's 1 to 2 mm in lenght. Sorry that this has nothing to do with gardening.

Definitely not a bed bug - looks like a psocid (booklice/barklice) - harmless nuisance pests...

Will keep trying to find one to confirm we have them. They are really hard to find. Before we had those strange bites I though bed bugs where easy to spot , becaue on tv whenever they talk about bedbugs they show images of very large infestations. Now I know they can be there hiding....and you will never know it. Be very carefull everyone...I think I got them when I was hospitalised a few days for an operation...I was so focused about the operation that I totally forgot about being carefull about bed bugs like I am if I stay at a hotel....They should posts warning in the hospital to remind people about them.
