The fothergilla thread got me wondering- I have a bookmark file labeled "Plant Places", that includes my favorite mail order nurseries, plus other links like to USDA Plant Database and Cactus Mall and Great Plant Picks and suchlike. We are headed into the winter reading and web-crawling season. You tree, shrub, and conifer folks must have other favorite web sites the rest of us might enjoy looking at. Wanna share?
What have you "Bookmarked"?
Best site I've found so far for plant searching: http://www.garden.org/
I like arnoldia, which is the on-line version of the quarterly magazine published by Harvard's Arnold Arboretum. It goes back to 1911, and it's pretty cool to read articles by Charles Sargent. It has gotten me through many a cold winter day.
Once you get to Arnold Arb's website, click on the arnoldia link at top of page. Then proceed to spend a few hours marveling at the seemingly endless supply of horticultural information. Just don't do this at work...
Plant Lust seems really in depth. Just discovered it today. Could be trouble...
