It has that violin shape on its back. I have the extreme willies at the moment, as my hand was milimeters away from him cleaning an old garage drawer.

If you mean a brown recluse, it certainly appears to have most of the earmarks of one - the only defining feature that cannot be seen in these images is the eye pattern, three groups of two eyes each - http://www.lakeneosho.org/BrownRecluse/Brown_Recluse_7.JPG
