I have a ivy geranium ' L ' Elegante' that I have been trying to propagate for almost a year .
I have tried rooting in water last winter , plant stayed alive but never rooted , then come spring i put it into a pot with other plants , it stayed out side and doubled in size . A few days ago i went to pot in up to over winter inside and it STILL had no roots , it had been outside in dirt for at least 5 months . WHAT AM I DOING WRONG HERE ?
This same plant has Ivy type leaves that out side look ivy like , flat , inside in a window they curl and get pink streaks, Help !!

Your ivy geranium grew but had no roots? I don't get that at all, that's usually your first indication that your plant has roots - when it starts growing. I stuck 4 cuttings of an ivy geranium in a pot in August when the mother plant was pretty tired looking. 3 out of 4 are now growing/flowering, so I assumed they had rooted, but maybe not . . .
