Can anyone ID these caterpillars?
Seen in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, South India.
White and green striped caterpillar
looks to be a type of slug caterpillar. Be careful as it may have a very painful sting.
Maybe Flapdoodle can be of more help
The overall appearance of these caterpillars appears consistent with the family Limacodidae (cup moths/slug caterpillars), and thus they should be treated with caution until their identity can be confirmed. I regret that I cannot provide a more specific i.d. at this time...
