Good bug - Is this a slug??

It has 2 black eyes on one end, and it slims along, found on food from our Veg. garden.
is is good or bad bug...and how to get rid of?

it's out of focus but sounds like a slug. Is it all soft and slimy and slippery / sticky? They are neutral to bad, they can make holes on some vegetables.
There are slug baits you can buy, or use 'beer traps' small dishes of beer set at ground level can attract and drown slugs.
