I got this photo last week in Southern Arizona. We were photographing bats at night coming in to a pond. But, this isn't a bat. I think it is one of the Sphinx Moths, but not sure which one.
I would appreciate any help with the ID.

CLOSED: Some type of Sphinx Moth?
Manduca sexta (tobacco hornworm) is one possibility - http://www.livescience.com/5047-bugs-smell-funny.html
Thanks, Flapdoodle! That sure looks like it.
