6-8mm long, non flying insects. Could you please identify the insect and tell me if it is a pest I can get rid of or whether it will just disappear seasonally. Thanks

Unfortunately, the image isn't clear enough for me to be confident of even which family these are in - the wings appear deflected downward posteriorly as in Miridae, but their overall shape/gestalt seems more like some members of Lygaeidae...
Thanks flapdoodle. Sorry the photos aren't up to standard. Having read up on both, the images do seem to resemble both family species.
I guess my concern was whether the mild house infestation was anything to be concerned about. It seems that they are garden pests and we will have to keep an eye on what these pests are interested in, in the garden!
