Can anybody tell me what creature this is?? ive seen a number of them around the house, their fairly small, maybe 1 - 1 1/2 inches... ive seen them hop like a grasshopper too??? I live in New York Hudson valley area.

Tree crickets sometimes will 'nip' human skin when they are walking on it; painful but harmless.
