CLOSED: Strange Green Bug Bit Me!

Burbank, CA

This little guy bit me while I was watering plants last weekend, and he left a rather painful/itchy welt on my palm. I've been trying to figure out what the heck he could be since I snapped these (admittedly bad) cell phone pictures, but none of my friends or neighbors have had a clue. Any ideas?

He's really quite small; I'd say a bit less than half an inch long.

I'm located in Southern California, in the San Fernando Valley, if that helps at all. Thanks so much!

It looks like the nymph of a Lady Beetle or something related.

Thanks, kwanjin! You pointed me in the right direction and I was able to figure it out - looks like it was a Green Lacewing larva. I supposed I'll forgive him, since he and his kind are so beneficial!

Glad I could help!
