Hi guys,
So I emptied a can of spray on this lil' guy, and can't sleep now (partially out of guilt for killing it). Can anybody ID him/her, and know whether they tend to bite and if their venom is dangerous? *SHUDDER*
The size is about a nickel. And although not too visible in the pics, I did notice what seemed to be two small white symmetric marks on it.
Thanks!

All I can tell for certain from these images is that it is/was an orb-weaving spider (family Araneidae). All orb weavers, although technically venomous, are harmless to humans. See the 'sticky' on spider bite.
