I've been searching the Internet to try and find out what type of spider this is please someone let me know I live in daytona beach FL, it had 20 or 25 little spiders coming out of it after it died
Need help identifying this spider please
Probably a wolf spider - females often carry their newly hatched young on their backs for a few days until they can fend for themselves - http://thetaskathand.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/wolf20spider20with20babies204-23-08201.jpg
Ok wolf spider ...are they dangerous and is there any way to get rid of them or keep them from coming in?....thanks in advance
Wolf spiders are not dangerous to humans, but large specimens are capable of delivering a painful bite if mishandled (they are not aggressive towards humans, but like nearly all creatures, they will attempt to defend themselves if they feel threatened). Short of hermetically sealing your home, it is nearly impossible to keep the occasional spider or other critter from gaining entry when they are actively searching for prey or shelter.
