Can anyone identify these bugs that were on my lettuce plants a few months ago? They are fairly small (but varied in size), dark brown, with bulbous abdomens and long antennae. They did not appear to be eating the lettuce, but they sure liked to hang out on it.
Please note that these pictures were taken in late May--they are NOT recent!

Aphids, aka 'plant lice'. Can be washed off with a strong stream of water or controlled with an insecticidal soap...
Interesting--they look different from the aphids in my other posts. Different life stages or different species, I suppose?
