I found this spider and am curious about which type it is. I don't know much about the different kinds. Just want to know if it is harmful to my family. Thanks!
My boyfriend was recently bitten and has an awful reaction, but we think it happened while we were at the lake. I just want to make sure I don't have a harmful bigger living here. Thanks!
What type of spider is this little one?!
The long front legs along with the particular eyeshine pattern appear typical of spiders in the family Theridiidae (comb-footed/cobweb spiders). The only dangerous spiders in this family are the widow spiders, and this is not one of those.
