I found these eggs next to the mat on my front porch last night. There are two sets of eggs, one on each side of the mat. (I looked and did not find any more elsewhere on the porch, under the mat or in the plants on the porch.) The eggs in the attached picture are about the size of coriander seeds and are "glued" together so they cannot be easily removed. Thinking they were probably snail or slug eggs and definitely nothing I wanted to hatch, I poured boiling water on them which seemed like a quick and non-toxic means of eradication. Can anyone confirm my suspicion that these are the eggs of a destructive garden gastropod?
