Brown/Gold Beetles

Hello,

I've been finding a lot of these beetles where I work in CT, but can't seem to find them on any lists of New England beetles...They seem to be either gold or dark brown. Hoping someone can tell me what they are.

The one on the right appears to be an introduced species called the Oriental beetle - http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/31084133
The one on the left is another scarab in the subfamily Melolonthinae; there are several species that can resemble this one (see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/34173042 for an example), and I do not believe it will be possible to i.d. this one to species level from this image.
