this picture is low quality taken with my phone. this spider's body was 4-5 cm long and the legs 6-7 cm long.
the picture was taken in central europe and I have never seen such a large spider here.
anybody can help identify it?
thanks

biggest spider I have seen so far
I would say brown recluse
It is a funnel weaver in the genus Tegenaria, maybe a giant house spider, Tegenaria duellica - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_house_spider
Flap, you beat me to it again. I was going to guess a member of the recluse genus but not the brown recluse. You really know your arachnids.
