I'v been getting them around the house quite often now, maybe 2-4 spiders per day. The travel unopposed everywhere, carpet, bath etc. I am wondering if they are anything to be worried about, toxic or not I have a 4 year old child.
Please help identify this spider!
This is a male spider in the genus Tegenaria, such as the giant house spider - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/65924740@N00/5163153538/ for an example. Although like nearly all other spiders they possess venom glands and thus technically are venomous, they are not dangerous to humans - see the 'sticky' on spider bites at the top of this forum.
Thank you! My wife would be thrilled!
