Saw this on the wall this evening. Ran in to bring camera as I was seeing this for the first time in the yard. Which is this? It flew away.

Is this a full grown adult?
Yes. Planthoppers, leafhoppers and treehoppers are usually small insects. They are herbivorous, but I don't kill them as they don't do too much damage in my garden. If you need to control these insects on your plants check out this link-
