Hello,
I live in Los Angeles and I have a Black Mission fig tree (south facing getting plenty of sun). The tree is alive and doing very well except that it attracts a lot of bugs. This year, I snapped the below photo of a very large beetle that has been nesting in the tree and eating the figs. Can someone please help me id this beetle and let me know the best way to help send this swarm packing? They dont seem to pose any danger but they are eating up my crops
thx
