CLOSED: All over squash plant. Need Identification please

These are all over my fathers squash plant he was watching them and they don't look like they are eating anythign or doing any damage but I have failed to identify them on google and need to know what they are and if they are harmful to veggy plants

It is a lady beetle larva, but a Harmonia. It appears to be a Coccinella; likely C. septempunctata - http://insect-collector.blogspot.com/2009/02/coccinellidae.html
