Campanula carpatica "blue clips" seed saving.

Edmonton, AB(Zone 3a)

I want to try to save seeds from some blue clips.

I read that the seed pods have to dry... can I cut them off of the plant once the flower on it dies and let the seed pod dry somewhere or do I have to let it dry while attached to the rest of the plant, basically once the whole plant is dried up?

Thanks!

Leave the flowers and any seed capsules on the plant. (By the way, the plant itself will remain green until eventually killed by frost.) When the seed capsules dry sufficiently, you'll be able to shake out seed.

Thanks. I just noticed that with my perennial dianthus, I haven't paid any attention to them in a while and the seeds just shook right out. :)

I dead headed my bue clips today and a few of the pods that looked dry were actually just a sticky glob. I think I just need to learn to have some patience. Lol
