CLOSED: Large brown beetle

Never seen one of these before. Found on a wooded garage door at night. Its pretty large. I poked it with a stick, it didnt fly. It fell to the ground and crawled fast while making a hiss kinda sound while rubbing its back legs against its abdomen What is it? Thanks
