CLOSED: 3 Beetles ID

Gramat, France

Why can't my garden have common insects that are easy to identify. Can't find these in any of my books or on internet. Many similar but not identical.

These are true bugs, not beetles; the one in the first and third images appears to be a pentatomid, the one in the second and fourth images is in the family Miridae, it appears to be Deraeocoris ruber, a predatory species (see http://www.gardensafari.nl/pics/wantsen/blindwantsen/deraeocoris_ruber_hs7_2847.jpg for an image. Not sure at this time about the one in the fifth image...

Wow, you do know your stuff, many thanks.

Thanks, but there is far more I don't know than what I do...
Anyway, I think that your pentatomid is one of the species in the genus Carpocoris - http://www.treknature.com/gallery/photo246165.htm

Carpocoris fuscispinus would seem to be the closest match. Thanks again.

I can't be certain, but the one in your last image might be another mirid, in the genus Adelphocoris - http://www.tuin-thijs.com/images/insecten-frankrijk/860kl-adelphocoris-vandalic.jpg

By jove, I think your right. Looking at the original uncompressed photo there is definitely a dark patch at its rear end. That's all my bugs identified, just the three small moths to put names to...until some more crawl out of the woodwork tomorrow :-). Thanks
