Forgotten trumpet lily or weed?

I believe I may have kill some tall lily stems thinking that they were some weed .How long will a forgotten lily send up a non-flowering stem?
I have planted lilies all over my property,and I was busy weed whacking when I came upon these 3-4' tall lily looking stalks.Could these be lilies that I need to dig up and divide? Please help,I love my lilies!

Dig them up an check out the bulb. Whacking off the stem usually doesn't do permanent damage for a healthy, sturdy bulb.
