I have millions of these little bugs all over my euonymus plants. They like to sit in cluster and line up along the stems. They are greyish brown and slightly smaller then a lady bug. They have a fluffy backside which look like they could be wings but I'm not sure.
Anyone know what these are and if they are dangerous to my shrubs? And how do I get rid of them naturally?
CLOSED: Unknown Bug?
Nymph of a planthopper (superfamily Fulgoroidea); likely in the family Acanaloniidae - see http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8010/7469977712_83f8b57f83_o.jpg for an example. These nymphs sometimes are called 'fluffy bums'...
Thank you! Are they harmful? Is there a way to get rid of them naturally? I have never in my life seen these before!
These seldom are real pests, but organic controls such as Neem oil should work...
Neem oil, awesome! Thank you so much for the advice!
