can you tell me what these guys are..??... the look very similar to sawfly larvae... there are numerous ones on my mountain ash

yes... I did a google image search before I posted... that's what made me suspect it was sawfly... I was hoping someone might know if they would be a pest of mountain ash..??... I'd kinda like more confirmation before I trash them.
