hello
i have this lavender for few months, when it came it was already in bad condition (i suppose someone just let it dry). today i spotted a net on it. is it a "normal" spider net or some special kind of pest? in any case what can i do about that?
CLOSED: indoor lavender, problem
hello darko...i have seen this before but don't know what it is. someone should be able to identify it here for you. there is also a forum called "garden pests and diseases" and they should be able to help you if you don't have luck at this forum.
Can you see any critters in the webs? If so, try to capture an image of them. The presence of very fine webbing sometimes indicates a spider mite infestation - http://www.viette.com/v.php?pg=815
However, lavender is supposed to be repellant to spider mites.
thanks... it came out to be mites and heavy infection, i had to throw the plant. now i' anxious about the rest of plants...
