Please Help me Identify

Huntington Beach, CA

So I found this spider burrowed in a flower in Huntington Beach, CA. I am worried about it a little cause it is at my place of work and we have little kids running around.

Please help me find out what this spider is. I have some ideas of what it might be, but I can't be sure cause some of the spiders that are popping up are not really native to my area.

Sorry if the images aren't that clear I took it while the spider was in a bug catcher. I hope someone will still be able to tell me what this spider is.

Difficult to be certain from these images, but it might be in the family Miturgidae (prowling/long-legged sac spiders) - http://nathistoc.bio.uci.edu/spiders/Cheiracanthium2.htm
Some ground spiders in the family Gnaphosidae also can have a similar appearance, but their legs usually are thicker in proportion to their body than in your specimen. Neither are dangerous, but Cheiracanthium spiders are reputed to have a painful bite.

Flapdoodle,

Yes he definitely kinda looks like this spider, but he is darker in color, more brown. He also has created a web in the catcher. Up close to the rim. Does this spider do that? The web is almost cylinder like and has openings on either end, and the spider just sits in the web.

These spiders, like many others, can vary somewhat in coloration, and the web construction you describe sounds consistent with the spider being in this family.
