Error correction

Barling, AR(Zone 7b)

I no longer see an error icon on DG web pages to note errors. I have noted several errors on bug identification to submitters without response. How do errors in ID get corrected?

Presumably the lack of that icon is a fault in the new look DavesGarden, I will draw it to management's attention.

All corrections have to be made by adminstrators and in BugFiles that usually means me, so the use of the BugFiles How-to's forum is the best way of notifying me of any errors until the error icon is restored,

I have noted several misidentification of bugs submitted to DG recently. I usually comment to the submitter but I never get a response or correction. How do I ID these errors to DG admin? Should I reference the post # that is in error and why ?

I would greatly appreciate your notifying us of these errors. I wpould say use the error button, but that still has not been restored, si this forum is the best way for the present. I always check this forum each day when I am at home. The best way to reference the post is to copy the URL for the page. This provides a direct link to the page with errors, for example: http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/showimage/2517/
and then explain why you believe it to be in error (and if possible the correct ID),
Thank you for your trouble in doing this. I pick up a few errors when thepictures are added, but do not have a great familiarity with American bugs, from here in Australia.

Thanks. I have only been bugging in my retirement for a year so I have a limited knowledge of insect ID. However, I have developed expertise in some species which I will share with DG..
