Yesterday--early evening--I saw this "thing" sitting on the stem of one of my small
Thanksgiving cactus, of which I have a tray-full sitting by my front door.
It was perched vertically and not moving at all. It looked almost prehistoric---the color
of slate--but a bit rough. The wings were closed, and it only stirred a tiny bit when I moved the pot
so I could get a better picture.
There were two small bumps near the upper part where the wings narrow down that looked like "eyes'.
It was still sitting there when i went to bed. This morning--it was gone.
Thanks, Gita
