A green slender bug and a black bug

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

The black bug had wandered inside the house this afternoon and the green bug was looking for something in my garden. The green bug was about an inch long and you can see the size of the black one as it is on my thumb. Which are these?

The green beetle is an arboreal tiger beetle – see http://www.realmonstrosities.com/2012/05/you-sexy-tiger-beetle.html for an example in the genus Neocollyris. Tiger beetles used to be placed in the family Ciciendelidae, but that now is considered a subfamily of Carabidae (ground beetles). The small black beetle might be either in the family Chrysomelidae (leaf beetles) or Tenebrionidae (darkling beetles) – need to see the tip of a hind leg – if it has four segments, it is a darkling beetle, if it has five segments, it’s a leaf beetle (note: the antennae look a bit more like a darkling beetle than a leaf beetle to me).

Also apologies - I just realized that I have never gotten back to some images you posted earlier - will try to get back to those a bit later...

Thanks Flapdoodle. Two more images of the black one. May be the hind leg is seen ok here.
The Tiger beetle - checked on the web. It looks close to N.bonellii. There are so many similar postings there!
