Been in my house for a few days but found it today and let it out, someone said it looked at bit suspicious. Any ideas??

Looks like a ground spider (family Gnaphosidae) - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/63075200@N07/sets/72157633043685053/ for an example. Harmless to humans.
