This is an interesting insect I have never come across and interested to know what it is.
I found it in Northern NJ--West Milford to be exact on a June summer afternoon.
Please help identify......
NEVER SEEN THIS INSECT BEFOREPLEASE HELP IDENTIFY!
It's the shed 'skin' (exoskeleton) of a dragonfly nymph. The adult has emerged and flown away...
So it wasn't even alive and I was terrified it would jump on me? Awesome haha. Thank you for the quick response and solving the question!
