Well, I was close with my Lightning Bug comparison! I read up the Margined Leatherwing a little bit and it's an interesting character. I've seen lots of these around my garden this Summer and, in the almost total absence of honeybees in my yard, I'm glad to find someone doing the work of pollination!

You're very welcome! I found the teeniest crab spider yesterday. White and so cute hiding in the Shasta Daisies. LOL
