This little guy and lots of his family have invaded my garden. Eating on all my plants including vegetables. This is the first year I have ever seen this bug but they are everywhere. No bigger than a fly (in perspective) this bug does not fly.
What kind of bug is this?
This insect would not be eating your vegetables, as it is a predator. It's a larva of a lady beetle; most likely the Asian many-spotted lady beetle (Harmonia axyridis) - http://www.insectsofwestvirginia.net/b/i-me5-harmonia.html
