I would very much like to know who they are:
Two spiders from a meadow
Oh, and is the dark stuff under the first one its babies? :P
The first one might possibly be Araneus diadermatus, the European garden spider. Haven't had much luck with the second one.

Where exactly were these images taken? The first one does not appear to be an Araneus of any kind, let alone A. diadematus...

These were taken on a meadow in southern Estonia.
The first one was quite small, the length of the body perhaps ~5mm. The second one was bigger, with the legs maybe 2-3cm .

There isn't a whole lot of info on the spiders of Estonia. I was trying to match what i could see of the pattern....and Missed. but I did find another hopefully helpful link for searching
http://www.eurospiders.com/spider_family_gallery.php
My apologies Trrr
Sorry, I hoped that these would be more common but I guess I'll have to look more. :D Thanks for the link!

I'm still pondering the one on the left; the configuration of its cephalothorax reminds me of a crab spider, but I do not know of any European species in that family that resemble it otherwise. I'm going to take a guess that the green one might be a male Micrommata virescens, a spider in the family Sparassidae - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/roger_key/2671113816/lightbox/ for an example. Males of this species can be quite variable in appearance.
Oh, thank you very much, I really appreciate it! :) One down, one to go!
