I have loads of this all over my property, and I know that the ripe seed pods explode, I have several seeds from messing around with them. Are they really ripe this early in the season? What is the best way to store them and does anyone know if they have to go through a cold period? I know this is kind of a weedy plant, but I'm fascinated by its many herbal uses and I would like to grow it on purpose somewhere in the woods so I have a patch of it I can go through instead of wading through the all the ridiculous ivy. I made an ointment from it already, and it's doing amazing things for my skin. :)
