Possibly a red spotted antmimic spider? Castianeira

It looks pretty similar. I was afraid it was an Australian Redback Spider.
The Aussie Redback has a shorter much rounder abdomen. While there is not really anything to compare in your pic, the Redback seems to be smaller that the Antmimic.

The redback (Latrodectus hasselti) is not known to occur in the USA. A mature female can have an abdomen about marble size (~15mm).
