Spent the day planting my new passion--conifers. Of course I like 'em odd. Here's some pics...
I've caught the conifer bug
Well done, my favorite there is the contorta. I hope they bring you years of beauty and joy!
Thanks. I'll keep posting as I keep planting. I've got a slew of them to get in the ground...
Welcome to conifer addiction , it is a delightful malady. You might want to check out the American Conifer Society to connect with fellow addicts.

Cobra is pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to see what it looks like in 5, 10 years. Keep updating this original post! Lol.
I like your selections, Try some Abies Koreana dwarfs
I'm boring, I like the Skylands best. Have fun!
Holy smokes you weren't kidding. I'm impressed with your enthusiasm.

I really am hoping to create a place where other enthusiasts can visit and enjoy. Gonna take a while but fun along the way...
Well I applaud you on your effort. It will be something else I'm sure. Maybe you will be known as the "other" man who loved conifers.
While not conifers...I'd offer that enthusiasts often appreciate diversity and companionship in plantings. There are a whole lot of things that help set off the consistency of conifers - not the least of which might include a viburnum or two...
Hmmm. I'm sure next week I'll be on to something to compliment them.
How about some nice ginkgo's? You may not be aware there are some cool cultivars...
Oops, I guess they're also conifers.
Then, maybe pink flamingo's?
Yeah, I have 31 different ginkgoes to work into the plan. Once the blisters callous up.
Make Weerobin cry by describing the Ginkgos you had to leave behind in Chicago...
I already heard the sad tale... very depressing.
But nothing like a blank palette to perk right back up!
Gonna be nice when they all get grown in a bit. Where did you find the Ch, Nootkatensis Bokyo Sundown??? Looks cool.
Kyle :-)
Gee Farms. The color is awesome in person.
I hope that wide open space behind monumentale isn't all yours ... ?
It might be time to investigate the 12 steps to conifer sobriety....
