What kind of spider is this??

I live in Borrego Springs and have never seen a spider like this. Had guesses of Boxing Spider, Brown Widow, maybe an Orb Weaver.....or some new hybrid!! Lived in a sort of funnel type webbing. Thank You

The 'boxing gloves' are its pedipalps, used in transferring sperm to the female during mating.
