Hello everyone!
So, we found two of these a month or so ago, but then last week we found a bigger one in the living room and then last night i found a bigger one on our kitchen counter. Just wondering what this is?
Thank you so much. =)
(sorry i didn't have more pictures, dog squashed the other one lol But the notable thing about this bug is the long pincher-like things on the back of it's body which is why i thought this was an okay shot!)
CLOSED: Is this a type of beetle or some kind of roach??
Earwig (order Dermaptera), basically a nuisance pest - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earwig
Ah, thank you!!!
Do you know if this is something travels in huge groups like roaches?? I mean if you see one roach people always say there are 1000 you don't see.......are earwigs the same??
Not really. But as they largely are nocturnal and like to inhabit dark, moist places, there usually are a lot more around than the ones you see out in the open.
Thanks a lot Flap!!! :D
I swear I LOVE this site!! hehe :3
