Hey this type of spider is always in my bedroom. I always see them running around, they are pretty quick. There kinda the same size as a quarter or less. Just wanting to know if I should be worried about them biting me at night. I live in Southern California if that helps.
A ground spider (family Gnaphosidae) - harmless.
