CLOSED: Is this a Redback Jumping Spider?

Gisela, AZ

I have not seen this spider before here in Phoenix, AZ. I read about the Redbacks but heard they are native to Australia, so I am doubting it is one. Can anyone help me ID him. Thanks

This is a native North American black widow spider (immature) - http://a-z-animals.com/animals/black-widow-spider/
Jumping spiders belong to an entirely different family (Salticidae).

Thank you for the quick response. You are probably right, although I could not find any pictures that matched. Could it be a Brown widow, "Latrodectus geometricus" similar to the attached picture? We have not yet found egg sacks to confirm it but I will look further for them. Thanks again.

This image from Flapdoodle's link looks to be nearly identical to your picture.
