17 year cicadas

Yeah, now I am itching. What a map and photos to identify them when they emerge.

Still no cicadas here. I mean - not one. Weird.

So, they have come and gone with out a whisper. I am okay with that.

Well this week we have them out in force. Last time i heard this I had
little toddlers and I said they would be in college when I heard them again.

Yep still around but not as noisy today with temp near 100 F

They seem to be over here. We had to travel some just to get this picture. Can't say I'm sorry at all!

There are some different frequencies from different trees. Now
that it's dark, there is quite a chorus.

Uugggghh. Those beady eyes again. My windows are open but no sounds or signs of them here.
